The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific, administrator of the Double Masters Program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, has won the Best Educational Course Provider Award at the 25rd Annual Asia Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA), held on 27 Apr 2011 in Singapore.

This is the nineth consecutive time that TLIAP has won this award.

According to BusinessWeek's most recent study (7 Apr 2011) on the return on investment (ROI) of college degrees, the Georgia Institute of Technology was placed very highly among college programs in the United States.

For students paying in-state fees, a Georgia Tech degree yields a 30-year net ROI of US$1.129 million while the figure for out-of-state students is US$1.066 million. These correspond to 23rd and 29th places respectively in the ROI league table of about 1,000 colleges. The ROI from attending Georgia Tech is also second among all public universities.

The results of the 2010 DMP Salary Survey has been published. The following is an excerpt:

In 2010, the salary survey of DMP graduates was conducted for the third year. As in past surveys, the aim is to obtain trends in DMP graduate salaries. Despite a limited sample size, the near identical qualifications of DMP graduates allow for meaningful comparisons across functions and industries. Another objective is also to find out if the salary outlook of DMP graduates for the year 2011. Furthermore, the results of the survey could also indicate the salary premium that DMP graduates can expect to command, compared to the overall market benchmarks.
