Circle of Logisticians

The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific, administrator of the Dual Masters Program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, has won the Best Educational Course Provider Award at the 23rd Annual Asia Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA), held on 22 Apr 2009 in Hong Kong.

This is the seventh consecutive time that TLIAP has won this award. 

The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific of NUS will be holding a Preview Talk on the Double Master of Science Programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management as part of the Professional Conversion Programmes (PCP) for PMETs.  The main purpose of the Talk is to explain the objectives for this Master program, type of subsidies given by WDA for shortlisted students and placement opportunities after the program.  The Preview Talk will be held on the 9th of March and the agenda is as followed:

• 2.00pm - "Importance of Logistics sectors for Singapore in the long term" by Spring Singapore
• 2.30pm - "Preview of the Double Master degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management" by TLI,NUS
• 3.15pm - "Learning experience and career opportunities for the Double Master degree" by TLI Alumni
• 4.00pm - Questions and Answers

Several industrial engineering students from GT/DMP will be available for internships.

If you or your company is interested to host these students, please kindly contact us (by 27 Mar 2009) for CVs and information. The internships should be related to logistics/supply chain management, preferably with a quantitative or analytical component.

DMP Internship (6 months) – 1-2 Students available
 * Who: GT/NUS - Dual MSc in Log/SCM Student
 * Period: Jul  to Dec 2009
 * Locaton: Singapore

TLIAP will be conducting talks for prospective students for the 2009 Intake of the Dual Masters Progam in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

 The Alumni are welcome to attend and share their experiences.
