Singapore Supply Chain Salaries to Remain Largely Unchanged in 2010
Thursday, 11 February 2010

Robert Walters recently released the results of its salary survey of employers and employees on the projected range of salaries in the year ahead.

Based on the results, salaries of supply chain professionals would likely remain similar to those in 2009.

Recruitment activity is expected to rise for regional positions, particularly in procurement and sourcing, and is likely to be "focused on addessing needs of internal stakeholers".

Demand for supply chain professionals are mostly coming from the FMCG, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and financial services industries. On the other hand, job opportunities are declining in low-cost manufacturing related industries which are relocating out of Singapore.
